Century21 Introduces Talk Radio

Century 21 Real Estate Corporation’s Web site, www.Century21.com, recently introduced “C21 Talk--Radio for the Real WorldSM,” a bi-weekly radio Web cast designed to educate consumers on new trends and issues in the real estate industry. The ten-show series launched in late June and features panels of guest experts selected from throughout the CENTURY 21 System. To participate, consumers simply log onto www.Century21.com, click on the “C21 Talk” banner and, like popular talk radio programs across the country, ask questions in real time, toll-free via phone or e-mail. “The Internet allows us to bring some of the nation’s leading industry experts together to discuss issues that affect consumers in a truly interactive experience,” said Van Davis, president and COO, Century 21 Real Estate Corporation. “Listeners will find tremendous value in C21 Talk--Radio for the Real World, whether they are buyers or sellers.” For those unable to chat in real-time with the experts, the program is also archived on www.Century21.com 24 hours a day. Consumers can visit the site to access past programs at their convenience, with a choice of user-friendly formats: streaming audio or written transcripts. For added convenience, the “transcript search” feature can perform keyword searches to help find specific words or phases of importance appearing in an archived program. Biographies and contact information for the featured guest experts as well as hyperlinks to relevant content on Century21.com are also available.

Ask the HOA Expert
Question: Can a homeowners association force unit owners to use its contractor to repair unit interior damage when the HOA is responsible for repairs? In this case, water seeped in due to failed waterproofing and damaged carpet, drywall, paint, baseboards and insulation. The HOA is paying a contractor to do both exterior and interior repairs but I do not want to use this contractor. I’ll accept the HOA’s cost estimate to do my interior repairs but want to get my own contractor.
