Weichert, Realtors" 7,500 sales agents have shattered all previous company sales records for the summer with an unprecedented $4.25 billion of real estate during the months of June, July and August, 27 percent more than the value of homes sold during the same months in 1997. James M. Weichert, president of Weichert, Realtors said consumers remain confident about the economy, mortgage rates are more favorable than they have been in 30 years, and jobs are secure in this region. One stop shopping services are also a factor in the company"s success, which include a pre-approved mortgages through Mortgage Access, a subsidiary, homeowner insurance, title insurance, homeowner"s warranty and relocation services. Weichert also has divisions that specialize in new homes and land, estate marketing, rental services, and commercial property. Weichert, Realtors has 200 offices in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C.
